To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, MSCC Travel Club will be honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who secured freedom for us all.  Up to 75 Morgans will follow the Atlantik Wall from Dunkirk to Cherbourg on the path of Germany’s conquest of Western Europe and the Allied efforts to wrestle control back from the Nazis. The tour culminates with a Parade along the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy, which took place on June 6, 1944, and the campaign that followed.

In May 2019 the MSCC Travel Club are hoping to attract ‘75 Morgan Owners’ to join us a 4 Day Tour along Hitler’s Atlantik Wall from Dunkirk to Cherbourg. The highlights of the tour will be a poignant ‘Rememberance Parade’ along the Landing Beaches from Pegasus Bridge to Sainte-Mère-Église and a visit the Britsh Cemetery at Bayeux where we wil pay tribute to the fallen heroes. Completed in 1952, the cemetery contains 4,144 Commonwealth graves of which 338 are unidentified.

In June 2019 Normandy will witness the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings, one of the turning points of the Second World War, where by nightfall more than 150,000 Allied soldiers had been successfully landed and this marked the beginning of the end of Nazi Germany and the first step in the road to Victory in the West.

This tour is designed to offer Morgan owners the perfect opportunity to express their respect and gratitude to the men and women who gave their lives during the D-Day landings in June 1944.

With the number of WWII veterans decreasing rapidly, this may be one of the last times we are able to share their heroic experiences in the exact places that witnessed their bravery.

During this tour you will be able to walk on the sands of Sword, Juno, Gold, Omaha and Utah beaches and be stirred by the memories of the young men who came ashore under fire in June of 1944. You’ll visit the town squares, woods and fields where the paratroopers landed in the predawn hours on 6 June.

Our first overnight stop will be in Dieppe,  where on August 19, 1942 a pivotal moment in the Second World War took place. The ‘Raid on Dieppe’ offered invaluable lessons for the successful D-Day invasion in 1944, saving countless lives.

Other attractions include;  Dunkirk Museum, Todt Battery, Musee 39-45 , Dieppe 1942 Museum,

Atlantik Wall Museum, Mulberry Harbour, Arromanches 360, D-Day Museum, Caen Memorial Museum, Airbourne Museum plus much more...
